Artaius Marketing Trip to USA May 2007
As part of the continued exciting expansion and business development plans of Artaius Directors, Melanie Troiano, and Alfred Levy led a delegation to the East coast of the Continent of America, and Canada,
The purpose of the trip was in order to convince potential UK investors that it is easy to set up in the UK, and how the UK can be used as a stepping stone to Europe. It is always important that companies work with professional and experienced partners, who can help them establish themselves here, without getting deeply involved in red tape.
Artaius was joined by Royal Bank of Scotland (Julia Herries – the new head of Inward Investment), Steeles solicitors, based in Norwich and London (Partners Michael Fahy and Philip Hyde) and East of England International represented by Dennis McGlynn, one of the Information Communications and Technology sector specialist Business Investment Officers.
The tour started with a seminar given by all the delegates at the offices of UK Trade and Investment in Toronto, and was followed by visits to contacts and clients in Montreal, Chicago, Boston, Washington and New York. 6 cities were visited and 24 meeting were held all in the course of 10 days.
Melanie and Alfred visited colleagues in the Integra International Group of Accountants in Boston, a local law firm there too, as well as the UK Trade and Investment offices in all those cities. Above all, current clients were pleased to see Directors visiting them on their home ground, and gave them important feedback on the services that are already being provided to their UK operations. The support received in that short space of time was most encouraging and led to many new clients and leads for Artaius.
This recent trip was a follow up from a number of earlier trips to Canada, East and West coast of America, Europe and India, Even traditional accountants such as Melanie and Alfred are now surprising colleagues and clients by their deep involvement in marketing and in their specific selling campaigns and on the way that they have widened their global contracts. This is beginning to have a major impact on the development of Artaius, which is no longer just renowned for its inexpensive and efficient bookkeeping, but it is now seen as the dynamic Business Process Organisation that treats the world as its oyster, who takes away the administrative headaches from its overseas and UK clientele.
Future expanded visits to Artaius’s friends worldwide are now being planned, so please watch this space to see the fruits of these campaigns!
