Ashok Nerurker Ashok joined Artaius in February 2001 as a Client Manager, and brought with him a wealth of experience gained from his training and years worked within the accountancy profession. Ashok also gained many years all round commercial experience when he was Company Accountant and Company Secretary in a diversified business, whose interests included freight forwarding, ship chartering, and insurance. At Artaius, Ashok successfully manages a mix of clients whose businesses cover a wide spectrum. Ashok liaises with his clients and manages their bookkeeping, treasury control, and timely submission of client management information and reports, VAT returns, and year-end accounts files. His strengths lie in meeting tight deadlines, maintaining contact, and communicating with his clients and the teams working with him. Outside work Ashok tries to keep abreast of current
affairs and enjoys long country walks with his family
and their dog. |

Faye Thompson Faye joined Artaius Ltd in January 2008 as a Senior Accountant and has been introduced into the company as an assistant to the Client Relationship Director, Melanie Troiano, to help introduce and set up inward investment companies into the UK. In her new role Faye has also taken on two clients from America and Canada. Her duties for these clients include day to day bookkeeping, cash flow management and monthly management accounts. Faye has come from a large sports governing body working as a Management Accountant and specialises in a sporting and commercial accounting environment. She has also worked for a large manufacturing company with whom she started her career in management accounting. In her spare time Faye is kept very busy with her young family, but also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. |

Prior to joining Artaius in Aug 2005, Graham worked in public practice and gained considerable experience in general taxation, financial accounts and auditing. Since joining Artaius, Graham been involved with the accounts of a large property investment group and when he joined the team in our Stevenage office has been a client Manager handling the accounting functions of both UK businesses and the UK subsidiaries of overseas companies. In his spare time Graham likes keeping fit by running and cycling. |

Jenny Warren Jenny became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants whilst working in the audit department of a London firm of Chartered Accountants with whom she remained for many years. Since qualifying she has worked in many areas of business and for large and small companies and organisations in various accountancy roles. Jenny joined Artaius in October 2001 as a Client Manager. Her client portfolio includes UK subsidiaries of multinational businesses based in Europe and Canada. Recently Jenny has taken an active role in other aspects of Artaius’ work including work flow management and supervising the client bank account. She has lived in North Hertfordshire all her working life and is an active member of her village community. This includes raising funds for the upkeep of the Village Hall. There are various social functions including the annual village pantomime in which Jenny has taken part since its inception some 14 years ago. Jenny also enjoys gardening and country walks as well as the city life of London to see her daughter and likes travelling abroad whenever she can. |

Joanne Woodbridge Joanne joined Artaius in November 2007 as an Accountant. Prior to this her experience was gained within public practice where she became AAT qualified. Based in practice for over seven years Joanne has experience in all aspects of year end accounts & auditing. Since joining Artaius Joanne has worked on both UK companies & UK subsidiaries for overseas companies, providing their day to day accounts function, as well as producing accounts, VAT returns & Intrastat reporting. Outside of work Joanne enjoys spending time with her fiancé & daughter and also plays competitive netball. |

Laura joined Artaius in July 2006 as a trainee accountant, after completing her A Levels. Since joining Artaius, Laura has begun studying towards her AAT qualification at college to develop her skills and knowledge of accounting. Within her role, Laura provides daily updated information on our client account and has an active role in the invoicing procedure for Artaius. Laura also prepares VAT returns and management accounts as well as day to day bookkeeping for clients, and Artaius’ internal accounts. In her spare time, Laura likes to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys going to concerts, socialising and travelling. |

Manjit K. Takhar Manjit joined Marylebone Accounting Centre in 1999 as an Accounts Assistant and quickly took control of payroll processing. Following the change of name to Artaius Ltd, Manjit demonstrated her administrative experience by dealing with the office assignments and also assisted Alfred as his PA for a short while! As an all rounder, Manjit has also been involved with bookkeeping and management accounts, prior to becoming Payroll Manager in 2005. As a team, we maintain all wages records to include calculations for PAYE and NI contributions, SSP, SMP, student loans and childcare vouchers, to name a few. At the payroll year-end, Manjit oversees the online procedure to ensure that clients’ files are submitted to HM Revenue & Customs on time. Manjit is on hand to deal with client queries and requests efficiently and able to give full explanations and breakdowns when required. Away from work, Manjit enjoys time with her 2 children and her hobbies include drawing and listening to Panjabi classical music. |

Rose joined Artaius in March 2006 as an office junior, primarily to assist the office manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the office. She also assisted the managers and directors with their administration work and found working with Manjit in the payroll department interesting. Rose quickly moved into assisting with preparing clients payrolls. Within the last year she has become more confident working alone to resolve the more complex payroll issues and has taken on more responsibility ensuring deadlines are met.In her spare time Rose enjoys spending time with her family and friends. |

Sally joined Artaius Ltd in December 2004 as a Senior Accountant. Previously Sally has worked for many years in a variety of sectors in the private industry from light manufacturing to toy distribution, and this wealth of experience is fully utilised at Artaius. Away from work Sally enjoys outdoor pursuits such as snowboarding and hiking. |

Sheila joined Artaius in April 2000 as a Senior Accountant Prior to this she worked for a Chartered Accountant for 7 years where she became AAT qualified. She has also worked for the Inland Revenue and Standard & Chartered Bank. In her spare time she loves spending time with family & friends. She is married with 2 grown up children:- |

Adam joined the company in April as a trainee and will be working with a number of the managers across a range of clients and will be starting his studies for the AAT qualifications starting in September. Adams experience since leaving school in June 2008, having achieved 3 A levels in business and economics, has been predominately in the admin functions within a charitable organisation. In his spare time Adam enjoys following many sports including Tennis, football and Formula 1 racing. |

Francis Hudson is senior tax manager at our sister firm Wilder Coe and based in our London office. His key responsibilities are advising on personal and corporate taxation issues, as well as overseeing the running of the tax department. Francis has worked in the tax profession since graduating from Cambridge University. He has a wealth of tax knowledge having worked at Top 6 accountancy firms. In the past he has advised a global insurance company, a leading international shopping centre operator, and numerous high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs. Francis is happy to deal with any queries on corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, international tax and inheritance tax. He has advised on large research & development tax relief claims and the tax treatment on intellectual property, and dealing with both UK and non-UK issues in respect of such matters. |
